Fatalism – hopeless hope: everything is determined before-hand. Man has no choice and cannot change the outcome.

How do you view life?  Perhaps you see it from the perspective of the preacher in the book of Ecclesiastes.  No point to life, day follows day, nothing is new, nothing is lasting… it is hopeless to live with any kind of hope.  Negative, negative, negative.  This is a sad and sorrowful way to live.
NASB Ecclesiastes 1:9 “…So there is nothing new under the sun.”

What we need to know, what do we need to remember:
NASB Romans 2:16 “… God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.”

Faith in the living God – Hope is the living hope in the living resurrected Lord Jesus Christ.

How do you view life as a believer in Christ Jesus as your God, your Savior?  From God’s perspective life is positive, powerful.  Faith in the Lord Jesus makes a huge difference in how we look at life.

Healing in our lives takes place as we place our faith in the living Lord Jesus Christ.  The Lord God does not put a band-aid on our wounded lives and tells us to take aspirin every four hours.

He gives us healing and He starts at the source of the hurt.  When we ask Jesus to be our Savior, the healing begins.

God’s mercy is at work, forgiveness for our sins is a done deal.

Confession is asking the Lord God to forgive us of specific sins, which are ours.

When we receive Jesus as our Savior, we are forgiven by God.

NASB 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgives us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

~ Take it to heart ~

The Lord God heals from within – it begins with choosing to put your faith in the Lord Jesus as your Savior and Lord.

Conclusion
Where do you need to yield to God’s healing touch in your life?

NASB Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 “The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.
14 For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.”

How do you view your life?  With fatalism or faith in the living God?
