For what reason do you give money to your church or a charitable organization?  Is it to make you “look good”?  Is it to make you “feel good”?  Is it because you are expected to give… a little something?
What is your motive for giving?

You may think, I don’t have enough money to live on and I can’t afford to give anything to the work of the church.

Have you been forgetting why you give to God’s work?

NASB 2 Corinthians 9:10-11 “Now He (God) who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;
11 you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.”

Remember: God is able to supply everything you need so you will have an abundance for every good deed.

God’s supply is enough.  How has God supplied your needs in the past?  Think about it!

Think about this, the LORD God gives us seed, the seed of His word which we are to plant in the lives of others.  We have Good News to share.  God’s word is life giving.  God supplies our needs and we need to recognize what He is doing for us.

When we recognize and acknowledge God’s abundant supply for our lives, we should be telling others… God increases the harvest!  Are we responsible how others respond?  Don’t think so; however, we are responsible to Go!  Tell!

~ Take it to heart ~

The Lord loves a cheerful giver.
His supply is without limits.
