NASB John 15:9-10 “Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love.
10 ‘If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.”

Abide means to remain, stay, continue
Love as a noun means compassion, devotion

So let’s look at those two verses again.
Jesus said, ‘Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you.’  Follower of Christ, we are loved with compassion and devotion by God our Savior.

Jesus also said, ‘Abide in My love…’ follower of Christ, we are to remain, stay, continue in the love Jesus gives.

If we keep the commands Jesus gave, if we put His words into action in our lives, we will remain in the circle of His love and live day by day.
