Light or darkness, belief or unbelief in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Light dispels darkness in a darkened room… light reveals what is in that room.
NASB Luke 11:33 “No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it away in a cellar nor under a basket, but on the lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.”

When anyone sees with their eyes and understands with their minds, their life is full of light.  But when understanding of Jesus Christ is only darkness, their whole life is full of the darkness of unbelief.
NASB Luke 11:33 “No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it away in a cellar nor under a basket, but on the lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.”

NASB Luke 11:34-35 “The eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear (healthy), your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness.
35 ‘Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness.”

Rejecting Jesus Christ, refusing to accept His teachings is to live in the darkness of unbelief.

Follower of Christ, what is your prayer?  Is it to be a light pointing to the Light of the world, Jesus Christ, in a world of darkness of unbelief?

NASB Luke 11:36 “If therefore your whole body is full of light, with no dark part in it, it will be wholly illumined, as when the lamp illumines you with its rays.”

Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ will continue to illumine the nooks and crannies which are dark in your life, follower of Christ.  We are to grow in our faith, we are not to be stunted in our maturity…

Jesus cried out to all who would listen to Him…are you listening?
NASB John 8:12 “… ‘I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life.”
