The disciples were a privileged group of 12 men, Jesus said so.  Their eyes saw, their ears heard what “many prophets and kings wished to see the things which you see, and did not see them, and to hear the things which you hear, and did not hear them.”
Luke 10:24 NASB

We know that what the 12 disciples saw and heard – the prophecies became history.  They lived it.  The writers of the New Testament wrote what they experienced.  They recorded what they saw with their eyes and they heard with their ears.  Blessing!

How blessed we are – to have their eye-witness accounts of prophecy fulfilled, becoming historical fact.  Blessing!

We are to read God’s words, they are for us from the living God.  His work in our behalf is beyond understanding fully all that He does, did, and will do!  Blessing!

Open our eyes Lord, to see You, Jesus!  Blessing!
Open our ears Lord, to hear Your word to us!  Blessing!
Open our hearts Lord, to receive You, Yourself, into our lives – this day!  Blessing!
