Jesus chooses you and me, follower of Christ, to tell others of His Good News.  His birth, His life, His death, His resurrection.  He came to save us from our sins.  That is Good News!

Our names may be unknown, our faces not recognizable to most people.  But we are called to prepare people to respond and receive Jesus as their Savior.

The Lord appointed 70 messengers and the disciples, to go out two by two… to cities that Jesus designated.  He would later be visiting those cities. Luke 10:1

Jesus gave these men instructions for their journey.  Included was the following…

(NASB) Luke 10:16 “The one who listens to you, listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; and he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”

Strong words of warning and judgment.

As messengers – we are responsible to tell others the Good News.
Remember: we are not responsible for those who reject our message or ourselves as His messengers… that is on them.

We are to faithfully give out the Good News whether our message is received or rejected.

~ Take it to heart ~

I pray that Paul’s prayer would be yours, follower of Christ.
(NASB) Ephesians 6:18-20 “With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,
19 and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,
20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”
