Focus!  Re-focus!

What is the state of your physical vision?  Many of us can correct the vision of our eyes, if necessary.  Some cannot see with their eyes but “see” the world through different senses.

What is the state of your spiritual vision?  Do you need a spiritual check-up on what claims your attention?

There was a man in Jerusalem, he frequently went to the Temple because he had acute spiritual vision and the Holy Spirit of God was his Guide.  He was a righteous man, a man of devotion to the living God.  Luke 2:25

What was he looking for?  The “consolation of Israel” – he was looking for a Person, the  Messiah!  The Holy Spirit revealed that he would see the Lord’s Christ (Messiah) before he died.  Luke 2:26

And he did see “the consolation of Israel”, in fact he held Him in his arms… the baby Jesus, brought to the temple by Mary and Joseph.  Luke 2:27-28

Are you looking for the living God to be active in your life and through your life?

Focus! on the living God.

Then Re-focus! on what He is doing where you live and work.
Find out where God is at work, and join Him there.

(NASB) Titus 2:11-14 “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,
¹² instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,
¹³ looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,
¹⁴ who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.”

Look for the blessed hope
Look for the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus
Focus!  Re-focus! on the living God.
