(NIV) Matthew 4:13 “Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali – 14to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah:

15’Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali,
the way to the sea, along the Jordan,
Galilee of the Gentiles –
16 the people living in darkness
have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of the shadow of death
a light has dawned.”

Follower of Christ, you have the Light of Jesus within you… you were given His Holy Spirit when you believed by faith in Jesus.
You once lived in darkness, the darkness of ignorant or intentional unbelief in Him.

Then, one day, you saw a great light, a light dawned and brought you knowledge of Jesus Christ.  By faith in Him, you received Him into your heart, your life as your Savior.  You chose life – life with the living God.

You repented of your sins and became a follower of Jesus Christ.  You did exactly what Jesus preached!
(NASB) Matthew 4:17 “From that time Jesus began to preach and say, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Whom do you work with,

live with,

are friends and neighbors with?

Who needs the Light of Jesus to dawn in their lives?
