Jesus intentionally set His face toward Jerusalem. Prophecy would become history during that Holy Week.
(NASB) Luke 22:1 “Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread which is called the Passover was approaching.”
Jesus and His 12 disciples went to Jerusalem for this historic Passover. Why historic? Jesus became the Passover Lamb, sacrificed for the sins of everyone who repent and ask Him to be their Savior. He completed, He finished, what He was born to do.

Jesus fulfilled all prophecy concerning Messiah’s first coming.
Read Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53, both chapters describe the torture of dying on a cross… and crucifixion was not “invented” at the time David, and Isaiah wrote these words long after David.
Even after Jesus died on a cross, prophecy became history. He was buried in a borrowed, new and unused tomb… as God previously said in Isaiah 53:9 NASB
“His grave was assigned with wicked men,
Yet He was with a rich man in His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.”

Read Matthew 27:57-60 – Joseph of Arimathea prepared the body of Jesus and laid Him in his own new and unused tomb. Prophecy … became history.
From this tomb, Jesus was raised to life on the third day and again, Prophecy… became history.
Jesus, the Suffering Servant of God, fulfilled all prophecy at His first coming. He is coming again, as King. When He does, Prophecy, once again, will become history.
Do you know Him as Your Savior? He died for you. He was raised to physical life when God accepted His sacrifice on the cross. You can know the living Messiah. His name is the Lord Jesus Christ.
