Preparations… “re-set” to travel
In your travels, if you are crossing time zones, your body needs to be prepared for the coming trip. It will be easier on you if you “re-set” your body for the new time zone.
Drinking plenty of water should be a top priority.There are ways to eat three to four days before you cross many time zones… to re-set your body clock. Times you sleep are also factored in. Then there are people like me, I half-heartedly do the regimes. Going, no problem… I am excited, “pumped,” the adrenalin is flowing.
Coming back, uhhh not so good. I’m tired for days and days afterward.
So, are you prepared to travel to your destination with a “re-set” of your body clock?What about going to heaven? What “re-set” is needed?
There is only one “re-set” anyone needs. That is knowing Jesus as your Savior, period. No other “re-set” is necessary.As Buzz Lightyear says, “To infinity and beyond!” Is that your mindset?
I am getting ready to take a trip… to another country. Someday, one day, I will travel to my real home, my real country. My citizenship is already there. It is called heaven. And my Savior is leading me there. In fact He will meet me when I arrive there. How exciting is that??!!!
~ Take it to heart ~
“The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”
