When your life has changed and you are now living a new “normal.”  What to do?

God says… to trust Him with our whole being.  Proverbs 3:5

He also tells us to stop leaning on others… to stop leaning on familiar circumstances… and to stop leaning on ourselves.  Don’t rely on your own understanding of how life is supposed to be. Instead, seek and trust God.  He wants to teach us how to live our lives.

  Consider God’s bottom line!

God says… to acknowledge Me.  We are to invite Him into our lives and into our present circumstances.  Proverbs 3:6

God promises… to make our paths straight – we are not to go down back alleys to walk with Him.  We are not to go down those paths that lead us away from God.  Proverbs 3:6

God says… don’t be wise in our own eyes… thinking of ourselves as if we are something we are not.  If we do that kind of thinking, we are only fooling ourselves.  Proverbs 3:7

God says… we are to fear Him with reverence and awe.

God says… (your name) consciously turn away from thoughts, motives, words and actions that are not pleasing to God.  Proverbs 3:7

God says… trust in Me!  Proverbs 3:5

~ Take it to heart ~

To trust in the LORD

… is a conscious choice.

… is turning to God

… is turning away from whatever is keeping us from trusting Him.

The bottom line!
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.”
