The sun comes forth with boldness into a new day.

It strides across the sky with purpose.

Its rays warm whatever they touch.

             Its light reveals details hidden in the darkness of night.

No place where the sun shines is without excuse.

No man made the sun and set it in its orbit.

No man placed it in the heavens at exactly the right distance from earth.

Look up!  See the power of the Creator God!

A thin layer of clouds can dim the sun’s brightness and heat.

The sun burns away the clouds and continues its march across the sky.

The LORD God reveals His creative genius – look at the sun!

When the sun goes down for the night – its rays fan out over the sky.

The sun continues to make the evening clouds beautiful.

Turning the clouds to shades of salmon, rose, amethyst.

Lining the clouds like molten gold.

God’s beauty!  His creation!

Do you think of God as you see the sun?

Do you think of God as you feel its heat?

Do you think of God as you look with awe at the beauty of light from the first peep of dawn until its last lingering touch at night?
