The Tent of Meeting…
The tent of meeting (not the tabernacle) was set up outside the camp of the sons of Israel. Anyone could go into the tent of meeting to seek God. Exodus 33:7
When Moses went to meet with God, the people in the camp would arise and stand at the entrances of their tents and watch Moses enter the tent of meeting. Exodus 33:8
God’s presence would be seen as the pillar of cloud which came down and stood at the entrance of the tent of meeting. There the LORD spoke with Moses. Moses and the LORD spoke face to face. When the people saw Moses enter the tent and the cloud descended, the people stood and worshiped. Exodus 33:9-11
The tent of meeting was a special place to meet God. Where do you intentionally meet God each day? Is there a room, a chair or couch, perhaps a porch… where you go to meet with the living God?
The tent of meeting – you can also go to seek God in your “special” place, your tent of meeting.
Anyone could go to the tent of meeting… and that is true today too.
Don’t put it off, set aside time to be alone with God Himself.
The LORD spoke with Moses and He wants to speak to us. How does He do this? Most often it is through His word, the Holy Bible. Sometimes He uses other believers in Christ to speak into our lives.
Do you have a Bible? There are free apps available. Two I know about are The Olive Tree and Bible Gateway, both are free.

It is my meditation all the day.

And a light to my path.”

Where is your tent of meeting with the living God?
