Have you ever thought about how great is our God?
And personally, how our great God is worthy of praise today, this day?
We worship an awesome God!

“On the splendor of Your majesty
And on Your wonderful works I will meditate.”
(NASB) Psalm 145:5

Where is your focus?  Is it on “me,” “myself,” and “I”?

When your attention, your thoughts are on yourself and full of you; there is no room for anyone else ~ especially God.
And that is the very time when your attention and mine need to intentionally and willfully, turn to think about the living God of the Holy Bible.

God Himself reveals the splendor of His majesty in the books of Exodus and Leviticus.  The books reveal the details of the tabernacle and its furnishings overlaid with gold.

The high priest and all priests were to wear special God-ordered clothing.  God was also intentional and specific how they were to serve and worship Him.

The tabernacle and its furnishings were the “picture” of the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ.  All point to Messiah and the splendor of God’s majesty and right to be worshiped.

Again and again Messiah is revealed through the office of the high priest and his duties.  Every detail was important to God.

How great is our God?
We worship an awesome God!

~ Take it to heart ~

LORD God help me today, this day, to meditate, to ponder about the splendor of Your majesty.
Help me, today, this day, to meditate on Your wonderful works – for I am blessed, richly blessed, by You and Your wonderful works for me and to me.  Thank You!
In the name of Jesus, my Savior, I pray, Amen.’
