Serving the Lord means to be consecrated for His work, His way through us.

Being consecrated for serving God means learning to live His way.

You and I were once controlled by our old natures and by what others thought we should be… that was the old life without Christ as our Savior.  Ephesians 4:17-22

Renewed ~
Receiving Christ as our Savior and Lord, we are to work with Him to “be renewed in the spirit of our mind.”  Ephesians 4:23

True Freedom ~
We have new clothing to put on and wear.  We have a new “self” created by God.  Ephesians 4:24

Some don’ts and do’s:
Stop telling lies

Do not let the sun go down on your anger, quickly take care to forgive and set it straight

Do not let the devil take advantage of you

Don’t steal, anything!  Go to work and receive your pay so you can share with others, instead of stealing from them.

Watch your tongue!  Unwholesome words are to not come out of your mouth any longer; rather, use words that build others up without flattery.

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God – it is by God the Holy Spirit that we are sealed for the day of being redeemed by God Himself.  Ephesians 4:25-30

~ Take it to heart ~

Serving the LORD His way ~ today – means putting away from you: bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, slander and malice.
Ephesians 4:31

Serving the LORD His way ~ today – means be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God has forgiven you by your faith in Jesus Christ.  Ephesians 4:32
