God first gave the pattern to Moses, then He gave the skill to another to carry out the plan.

The significance of the veil in the tabernacle was not explained to Moses.  He is an example of being an obedient servant, doing what his Master told him to do.  Exodus 26:31-35

God’s plan for the tabernacle, its furnishings and the veil were “pictures” of Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The veil’s significance would not be realized until Jesus died on the cross.  Fifteen hundred years would pass before anyone had any idea that the veil was a vital part of God’s “picture” of His Son’s death and resurrection.

Obedience to God is crucial in His ultimate plan – whether we understand or not.

(NASB) Romans 16:25-27 “Now to Him (God the Father) who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past,
26 but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith;
27 to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever.  Amen.”

~ Take it to heart ~

God’s word leads to obedience of faith in the followers of Jesus Christ.
