God’s love for me overwhelms me at times.  Does it you?

Think about the hidden work of God in your life.  He begins on the inside – He gets rid of the “stuff” that is ugly and replaces it with His beauty, which is like the finest gold.

In the days of Moses, God gave him the pattern for the tabernacle.  The tabernacle was the  place where God would meet with His people.

The holy of holies or the Most Holy Place was gold.  From the boards which made the walls –  to the furnishings, all were covered with gold.  The ark of the covenant was covered with gold.  The mercy seat with the two cherubim facing each other, all made of gold.  The LORD God would meet His people there at the mercy seat.

God is making His children of the finest gold within our most hidden beings – our soul.  Our soul is made up of our minds, our emotions, our wills.  This is the “heart” of us.

The LORD God made a holy place on the other side of the beautifully woven dividing veil.
The tabernacle was covered over by beautifully woven curtains of blue, purple and scarlet.

Then the LORD God protected this heart of worship and “hid” it away in plain sight.

The next covering over the woven material was goat’s hair then a covering of rams’ skins dyed red, then came a covering of porpoise skins.  Exodus 26:7-37
The tabernacle was a hidden work of God… for worship, for a meeting place between God and His people.

When anyone, no matter their past actions, confess their need of Jesus to forgive them of their sins… when anyone believes Jesus died, was buried, was resurrected to physical, eternal life… they become God’s child at that moment.  Their heart becomes a place for God to live.  We are given God the Holy Spirit.  He begins living in us at that moment!

The hidden work of God begins… within anyone’s heart, who has believed and confessed these things.

Let the hidden work of God become valuable to you today.  He takes the “stuff” inside and replaces it with gold.  You are valuable!  God is with you!  He lives within you, follower of Christ!

~ Take it to heart ~

(NASB) Romans 10:8-13
8 “But what does it say?  ‘THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, in your mouth and in your heart’–that is the word of faith which we are preaching,
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, ‘WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.’
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek (Gentile); for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;  (Underlining added)
13 for ‘WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.’

Hidden work of God – riches indeed.
