When you have a project in mind, how far in advance do you make preparations?  Some will prepare as much as possible as soon as possible.  Others will wait… and wait.

God prepares well in advance for His purposes to be accomplished.  Sometimes we can see it years in advance.
God’s preparations are thorough.

Moses was on a mountain in the wilderness listening to God and His instructions.

The materials Moses was to use were already available!  Out in the wilderness?  About two million ex-slaves had no money!  But they did possess what they had asked the Egyptians for before leaving Egypt – silver and gold jewelry and clothing.  The people had obeyed God’s commands to ask for specific items… and they carried them away.
Amazing preparation of God!

Moses was told that he would have the people make an ark of acacia wood, overlaid with gold and the ark would also be lined with gold.  The LORD described what the ark was to look like and how it would be carried.  Two poles inserted into rings along the side of the ark.  All covered with gold.

The LORD would give Moses the testimony before he went down the mountain to where the people were waiting.  That testimony would go inside the ark.  That testimony would be the Ten Commandments.  Exodus 25:10-16

What God has in mind is far and away better than anything you or I can imagine.  We can trust Him for His preparations to fulfill His plans.

(NASB) Isaiah 55:8 “For My thoughts are not our thoughts,
nor are your ways My ways,’ declares the LORD.”

What God is doing in your life today is for His purposes – tomorrow and into eternity.
