Have you been called to a place and then had to wait, and wait, and wait some more?

Moses had to wait, and wait, and wait some more after the LORD God called him to come up to Him on Mount Sinai.
Moses knew God called him to go up that mountain.  But the LORD God did not say anything after Moses got there.

Did Moses wait each day, expecting, anticipating God’s words to him?  He waited and waited, nothing.  He knew he was where God called him and still he … waited.  He waited and then on the seventh day God called to Moses.  For one week Moses waited on that mountain covered by a cloud.  Exodus 24:16

How do you react or respond when you know the living God has called you and there is no immediate “connection?”

Perhaps the God of the Holy Bible has called you to … wait.  Waiting on God’s timing is not easy.  So many times, we want what we want, when we want it… and we want it now.

What is one of the lessons we can learn while we wait?
We learn to trust God as we … wait.

“Make me know Your ways, O LORD;
Teach me Your paths.
5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day.”
(NASB) Psalm 25:4-5

~ Take it to heart ~

“Wait for the LORD;
Be strong and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for the LORD.”
(NASB) Psalm 27:14
