“Come up to Me…”
God calls His leaders and His people to be available to Him… whenever and wherever He calls us.
Many times God’s timing and purpose is revealed one step at a time.
Godly people, godly leaders, follow God. Period. In the following Scripture notice that the LORD did not include a time frame or how He would provide for Moses’ needs.
(NASB) Exodus 24:12 “Now the LORD said to Moses, ‘Come up to Me on the mountain and remain there…”You and I are to listen to the LORD our God and respond to Him! Do we know all which the LORD wants us to do? Probably not, and neither did Moses.
The LORD God and Moses had a history. Moses learned to trust and obey God’s leading and words. Moses’ confidence in God grew as his experience with God grew.
Our confidence in the LORD our God grows as we experience His faithfulness and love.
Who
“Now the LORD said to Moses…”
Where
“… ‘Come up to Me on the mountain…”
When
“… and remain there…”
What
“… and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and commandment…”
Why

Response of godly men and women follow Moses’ example
“So Moses arose with Joshua his servant, and Moses went up to the mountain of God.”
(NASB) Exodus 24:12-13Moses did not know for how long he was to be on the mountain, he did not know about meals or lodging. He trusted God for his future; for God’s will to be done.
Have you found God to be faithful in your past? If so, then you can trust Him for today and all the tomorrows to follow.~ Take it to heart ~
How will you now respond to God when He says to you…
“Come up to Me…”
