There are many people who pick and choose various gods to worship and serve.

The LORD God gives His instructions about other gods.
(NASB) Exodus 20:3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.”

God warns His people, over and over, not to worship or serve other gods.  Exodus 23:24

God does not give advice or a suggestion about serving other gods. “Listen” to what He does say, with a promise.
(NASB) Exodus 23:25 “But you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless…”

He gives us our food to eat and water to drink, and many times, He guards our health.
It is the living God who will fulfill my days here on earth, He will do that for you also… as we follow Him.  Exodus 23:27-28

As followers of Christ, we are not to worship or serve other gods.  Our lives are in the hands of the LORD our God.
What a comfort!  What a blessing!

The LORD our God “will fulfill the number of your years.”   Exodus 23:26

Other gods are not living or eternal!  God is!

The LORD our God goes ahead of us, into enemy territory.  He will deal with our enemies.  Exodus 23:27-28

What gods are you serving?
Worship the living God!
He is eternal!
