The first week of 2019
Question?: How many of your New Year’s resolutions have been kept, so far?
For the follower of Christ, I urge you not to make a resolution but a commitment of reading God’s words, every day in 2019. A commitment will help you to establish a habit for a lifetime.
Prayerfully reading God’s words in the Holy Bible will give you God’s counsel. It will give you a foundation of your faith in His words. His words are true, every one of them. The promises and their fulfillment; the warnings and their fulfillment.
God does not mess around! He says what He means and means what He says.
Listen to God! Do what He says to do. It is for your best good.
The following are some of the things God desires for you to do – today.
Receive Christ Jesus as your Savior and Lord.
(NASB) Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”Prayerfully read God’s word, the Holy Bible
(NASB) Psalm 1:1-2 “How blessed is the man (and woman) who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.”
