This week, all Christendom celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son.

When He was born in Bethlehem, His bed was a feeding trough for animals.  The future Ruler in Israel.  Notice this fact in the following verse.

“But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Too little to be among the clans of Judah,
From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel.
His goings forth are from long ago,
From the days of eternity.”
(NASB) Micah 5:2

Not only was prophecy fulfilled about a virgin being the mother of Messiah.
Not only was this baby’s name fulfilled, Immanuel ~ God with us!
His very village of birth was given by God’s prophet, Micah!

~ Take it to heart ~

Jesus was born in Bethlehem.
Jesus – existed before creation!  “From the days of eternity.”
This same Jesus ~ is coming again to earth to rule!
