Hurricanes! Typhoons! Earthquakes! Tsunamis! Floods! Tornados!

People have no control over the forces of nature … it is not possible.

Perhaps you have not experienced a “natural disaster” at the magnitude that others have.  But you are in the middle of a “disaster” over which you have no control.

The LORD God can use difficult circumstances, life-changing circumstances, to speak to you.
He spoke to people in the days of Moses so they would recognize that He is Almighty God.  The LORD used Mt. Sinai and the forces of nature to reveal Himself.  Exodus 20:18-21

(NASB) Exodus 20:22 “Then the LORD said to Moses, ‘Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘You yourselves have seen that I have spoken to you from heaven.”

Did you know that God uses His creation to reveal Himself?  And He has done so from the beginning of the creation of the heavens and the earth?
(NASB) Romans 1:20 “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.”

The LORD God can use the disasters in your life to reveal Himself to you.  His power is eternal!  It was His power in the past, it is His power today, and it will be His power in the future.  He will use His power to reveal Himself to you.
