When did you last watch the sun rise?

The early morning sky is dark, then… then the first light of the day slowly, oh so slowly, begins to show shapes and then colors.

The light grows, oh so slowly, silently.  And if there are any clouds in the sky – they become faintly pink, it is the first color against the blue back drop of the sky.

The clouds reflect the light of the coming sun.  It has not topped the horizon, yet. The pinks turn deeper pink, intensifying; and then colors of salmon, fiery pink and even reds can be seen.

Have you thought about this?  There is no place on earth that the sun or its heat is not seen or felt.  The coming TODAY reveals God and His glory!

(NASB) Psalm 19:1-2 “The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.
2 Day to day pours forth speech,
And night to night reveals knowledge.”

Today, the sun rises.  What does God’s word say about the sun?
“In them He (God) has placed a tent for the sun.
5 Which is as bridegroom coming out of his chamber;
It rejoices as a strong man to run his course.
6 Its rising is from one end of the heavens,
And its circuit to the other end of them;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat.”
(NASB) Psalm 19:4b-6

So many possibilities – TODAY!
Followers of Christ – we are to follow our Shepherd; His name is Jesus.
He knows the way we are to go.

(NASB) Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you?  ‘Be strong and courageous!  Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

~ Take it to heart ~

“This is the day which the LORD has made;
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
