(NASB) Exodus 16:35 “The sons of Israel ate the manna forty years, until they came to an inhabited land; they ate the manna until they came to the border of Canaan.”

(NASB) Joshua 5:12  “The manna ceased on the day after they had eaten some of the produce of the land, so that the sons of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate some of the yield of the land of Canaan during that year.”

The LORD God provided manna – the people had easy access to needed food day by day – for forty years!

The LORD God changed the source of food.  He continued to be faithful to the sons of Israel having food to eat when they entered the Promised Land.

Did that mean the LORD left them on their own?  No, He was still with them, He was still their God.

The seasons of our lives are much the same as what the sons of Israel experienced so long ago.

When we were growing up, we were fed.  After we left home, we ate.  When we married, or went to school, and/or got a job, the source of our food supply changed.
Retirement may mean an adjustment to our needs met.
The death of a spouse – many times impacts our needs.

When our lifestyle is affected – God is still God.  He is unchanging.
When our income is affected – God is still God.
When our lives change, in the seasons of life, God is still God.

He supplies our needs – not only physically, but also mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually.
God is still God who supplies our needs.

Our circumstances may change, but God is still our God, followers of Christ.
He supplies our needs in the seasons of life.

(NASB) Philippians 4:19 “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

‘Open my eyes, LORD
to “see” that You are meeting my needs.’
