A Lesson from the Birds
Cardinals, Tufted Titmice, Wrens, more Cardinals, Chickadees, Eastern Bluebirds, Mockingbirds, Mourning Doves… where you live you probably see different birds from what I have just named.
If you listen at the beginning of a new day, you can hear the birds’ praises and songs of joy.
The birds sing before they eat. They do not store food. They find their food, each day.
Do you sing praises to God when you awaken?
Do you sing praises to God the Creator before you see the answers to your prayers?
The LORD provides food for the birds each day. He provides food for us each day.
(NASB) Matthew 6:26 “Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?”
~ Take it to heart ~
“Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips will praise You.”
(NASB) Psalm 63:3
Be thankful and praise the living God when you wake up – learn the lesson from the birds.
Be thankful before you “see” the Lord God’s answers to your prayers.
