Has the LORD brought you to an impossible place in your life?  He knows your circumstances.  He knows who your enemies are.  He knows what He is doing with your life.

The sons of Israel were leaving Egypt, traveling on foot by night.  Then the LORD told Moses to “turn back.”  Turn back to Egypt?  No, they were to turn toward a way which would be impossible to escape the pursuing army of Egypt.  Exodus 14:1-2

The LORD knew the thoughts of Pharaoh.  The LORD knew why He was leading the sons of Israel into an impossible situation.  He would prove He was greater than Pharaoh — again!

(NASB) Exodus 14:4 “… I will be honored through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD.”

Pharaoh mustered his army of over 600 chariots and began to chase after the sons of Israel.
The freed slaves, the sons of Israel, cried out to the LORD and asked, “Why are we to die in the wilderness, when we could have stayed in Egypt and been safer?”  Exodus 14:12

How many times does the LORD work in our lives and we want to return to our old lifestyle of slavery?

How did Moses respond to these frightened people?
(NASB) Exodus 14:13 “But Moses said to the people, ‘Do not fear!  Stand by and see the salvation of the LORD which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever.”

The LORD knew exactly what He would do to protect His people in their impossible circumstances.
He knows exactly what He is doing to protect His people today.
The LORD God knows what He is doing!
