Joseph was a godly man. His faith was in the living God and his faith grew as a shepherd boy in Canaan, then, as a slave and prisoner in Egypt, and finally, as the second in command in
Egypt.

What a journey he traveled.  His story is in Genesis 37; 39-50.
Joseph knew by faith that the LORD was his Leader, Guide and Shepherd.  He knew God would take care of the future generations of the sons of Israel.

Before he died, he gave a responsibility to the Hebrews…
(NASB) Genesis 50:25 “Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying, ‘God will surely take care of you, and you shall carry my bones up from here.”

Moses remembered to take Joseph’s bones when the sons of Israel left Egypt…
(NASB) Exodus 13:19 “Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for he had made the sons of Israel solemnly swear, saying, ‘God will surely take care of you, and you shall carry my bones from here with you.”

Whatever is going on in your life this day, give all your worry, your anxiety, your concerns, your sorrows and grief to the Lord Jesus.

(NASB) 1 Peter 5:7 “casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.”

(NASB) Matthew 5:31-33 “Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’
32 ‘For the Gentiles (those without faith in the living God) eagerly seek all these things; for our heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 ‘But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
