Think back through this past year of your life – consider your circumstances – review the year……

Have you gone around the long way to reach the point you are today?  Perhaps you have gone through a wilderness and the way seems extra long.

For the follower of Christ, God is the One Who leads us, day by day.  He has a purpose for going around the longer way from the way you would choose.
There are many lessons to learn on our journey of life.

Have you grown in your faith in the living God your Savior as you travel in your wilderness circumstances?

(NASB) Exodus 13:18 “Hence God led the people around by the way of the wilderness to the Red Sea; and the sons of Israel went up in martial array from the land of Egypt.”

The LORD God led the freed Hebrew slaves around and through the wilderness – His first destination for them was the Red Sea.  That would be another set of frightening circumstances they would face and fear.  But God would lead them there and He would deliver them!

Remember:
God is always on time and He is orderly in how He leads us.

Question: are you learning to rest in the Lord your God and Savior?  Are you learning to relax in your circumstances?  Are you putting patience into practice as you trust God?

All people journey through life.
All believers in Jesus Christ as their Savior are blessed by God on this journey called life!

Praise Him!
Follower of Christ He is leading you…
He is your Shepherd Savior

~ Take it to heart ~

“The Lord is my Shepherd,
I shall not want.”
(NASB) Psalm 23:1

He takes care of my needs.
In my journey through life,
I choose contentment as I follow my Shepherd and Savior.
