Be Ever Mindful
The Feast of Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread – these cannot be over emphasized in their importance.
The LORD God commanded the sons of Israel to keep these days as holy, set apart, year after year when they entered the Promised Land. Exodus 13:10
They were to tell their sons why they were to keep these Feasts. “It is because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.” Exodus 13:8
Believers in Christ Jesus – we are to be ever mindful, never forgetting that the Lord brought us out of our sins of slavery with His powerful hand!
Never, ever forget! Be ever mindful!
The Hebrews were told to have these truths on their hand and on their forehead. This would act as a reminder of what God did for them when He delivered them out of Egyptian slavery. They were to talk about this wonderful act of God. Exodus 13:9
As followers of Christ, we also are to keep these truths near at hand. We are to remember them in our thoughts. We are to remember them by the words we speak in wonder of God’s delivering us out of bondage of sin.
~ Take it to heart ~
We are to be ever mindful that God’s power has not grown less, nor diminished.
When you are tempted, and all of us are tempted, remember the Lord’s power is greater than the temptation. We are to trust Him to give us His strength to resist the temptation. We are to turn away from the temptation, no matter how strong it’s pull and remember: God is greater!
Never, ever forget! Be ever mindful!
