Waiting… Waiting…
The LORD’s timing is not what we would usually choose. He waits and waits and many times waits some more. We tend to get impatient and want to get going…now!
The LORD is patient and thorough; He does all things with excellence and completeness. The LORD’s ways are not our ways.
Moses and Aaron had to wait for the LORD to deliver the Hebrew people out of Egyptian slavery. Days passed, devastating plagues came and went… still the LORD waited to deliver the people out of bondage.
During that time of waiting, Moses and Aaron and the Hebrew people learned to know the LORD God better, Who He is and how He works.
While you are waiting for the LORD to act in your behalf or on the behalf of others, how do you wait? With impatience, with worry OR do you take this time in the waiting room as an opportunity to know the LORD better?
As we wait, we can learn to trust God our Savior, He will deliver us from our bondage in His perfect timing. Our faith is to grow in the living God. This is an opportunity to make this choice and then we will learn by experience to trust in Him.
~ Take it to heart ~
“Wait for the LORD;”
He is teaching me His ways while I wait
“Be strong and let your heart take courage;”
Take this opportunity to grow in strength of faith in God;
I am to be encouraged for God is working in my behalf as I wait
“Yes, wait for the LORD.”
Agree with the living God, Yes! I choose to wait for the LORD
for His perfect timing in every phase of my life.
