Entering Eternity
Have you ever lost or thrown away important information? You not only threw it away, you deleted it or shredded it. How frustrating is that?! Not only is that frustrating, it is frightening. Fear grips and panic may have the upper hand.
What to do? What to do?For information you have lost, usually you can go to the source and at least get the important information.
What do you do when you or a loved one is facing death? Are you frustrated because you cannot do anything more? Fear may have you in its sickening grip. Panic and anger may take over your emotions, as well as guilt!
There is an answer my friend. The answer is faith in God which is found in His word, the Holy Bible. He is the source for important information about what happens after we die.
What is the answer God gives? There is life beyond the door of death.
As we breathe our last breath here on earth we breathe our next breath in eternity.
For those who know Jesus as their Savior, we know that our next breath will be in heaven, in the presence of God.
“Listen” to what Jesus said:
(NASB) John 14:1-3 “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 ‘In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.
3 ‘If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.”For those who do not believe in Jesus as their Savior, their first breath in eternity will be in hell.
(NASB) Matthew 25:46 “These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
(NASB) 1 Thessalonians 1:9 “These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power.”
~ Take it to heart ~
Don’t throw away, delete or shred this opportunity to receive Christ Jesus as your Savior with the promise of entering eternity into His presence.
(NASB) 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
True Repentance – turn from your unbelief and turn to belief in the Lord Jesus as your Savior.
Come; enter eternity through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Come; take the next breath in the presence of Jesus in heaven.
