What God says, He means!
How valid is your word? Are you a person others can depend on to tell the truth?
God keeps His words, all of them. You can depend on Him to tell you the truth.
God revealed Himself as God to Pharaoh in the days of Moses.
“… I will send all My plagues on you and your servants and your people, so that you may know that there is no one like Me in all the earth.” Exodus 9:14
God revealed His power “…I have allowed you to remain, in order to show you my power and in order to proclaim My name through all the earth.” Exodus 9:16
God revealed His knowledge of people’s motives “Still you exalt yourself against My people by not letting them go.” God told Pharaoh many times to let God’s people go to worship Him. Pharaoh repeatedly refused. Exodus 9:17
God revealed His warnings of what would happen “…about this time tomorrow, I will send a very heavy hail, such as has not been seen in Egypt from the day it was founded until now.”
Exodus 9:18
God revealed His justness “Now therefore send, bring your livestock and whatever you have in the field to safety. Every man and beast that is found in the field and is not brought home, when the hail comes down on them, will die.” Exodus 9:19
Some listened, and some did not. Exodus 9:20-21
God reveals Himself – through His word, the Holy Bible.
The LORD God reveals His power … through the events of today. Consider the heavens, the moon and the stars, the sun and the earth… it is God’s creative power which put them in place.
The LORD reveals His knowledge of your motives and mine… we can run but we cannot hide from the living God.
The LORD revealed His warnings of future events – read the books of Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and the other prophets. Read Matthew 24, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, Revelation and various other Scripture throughout the Bible and notice how many times God tells us what is going to happen.
~ Take it to heart ~
The LORD God means what He says and says exactly what He means.
What He reveals about future events – will happen!God’s words were all fulfilled in the past, they are being fulfilled today and they will happen in the future – just as God says.
Jesus said:
“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.
18 ‘For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” (NASB) Matthew 5:17-18
