The LORD is calling to you…
Are you trusting your own thoughts, your own emotions? Please reconsider. Our thoughts can lead us away from God. Our emotions are untrustworthy.
A roller-coaster ride has ups and downs, twists and curves, and moves fast. When the ride is over some people are physically ill, others are thrilled and want to experience that wild ride again.
No matter what you are facing each day, many times, it is the same roller-coaster ride as yesterday… and it could be the same roller-coaster ride tomorrow.
Depending on your own thoughts and remembrances, your emotions for past actions will be like that roller-coaster ride.
Perhaps you have guilt over something that is past and cannot be re-done. Roller-coaster rides have a price you have to pay. The emotional ups and downs impact your relationships with your spouse, your family, your friends and with the living God.
(NASB) Exodus 9:1 Then the LORD said to Moses, ‘Go to Pharaoh and speak to him…’”
The LORD gave Moses specific instructions. Moses did not go to Pharaoh until God told him to go. Moses was listening for God’s word.
Do you listen for God’s word to you? Even when you are on a roller-coaster ride?
Did you know that Jesus said we are to pray about everything! Do you?
Jesus gave you a command when He said:
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”Jesus gave you a promise when He said:
“And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard our hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
(NASB) Philippians 4:6-7

Listen to Jesus, He is calling to you ~
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.” (capital letters added)
