God’s Word of Command
It is frustrating, exasperating to tell a child, teen-ager, an employee to do a specific needed action – and it just does not get done.
Being irresponsible causes many miseries.
Question: where is God telling me to do something, to do a specific action and I am dilly-dallying? I conveniently put it off until tomorrow… next week… next month. Maybe, just maybe, I can put it off until next year! Do you relate? Do you say; that’s me!
Moses and Aaron did not put off until tomorrow what they were to do today. Nope. They got to work, right then.
They listened to God’s command and followed through with action.
The LORD expects obedience!
(NASB) Exodus 7:20 “So Moses and Aaron did even as the LORD had commanded.”
Many people may say, “How can I know what God wants me to do?” My friend, He tells us. That is what the Holy Bible is for; to read and to “listen” to His voice speaking to you through the Bible.
Did you know?
(NASB) 2 Timothy 3: 16-17 “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”
~ Take it to heart ~
Take God’s light, His word and walk the path He chooses for you.
“Your word is a lamp for my feet
And a light to my path.”
(NASB) Psalm 119:105
