Have you heard people say in times of difficulties –
‘You can go forward from this point on in your life. You will get over this.’

It’s so easy for people to say that; they want to give encouragement to those who are filled with grief and sorrow. But those who are in a dark place in their life may be resentful, even angered at such words.

Followers of Christ, wherever you are in this time of your life, you can know with certainty that your Redeemer God is alive and with you every step of the way. Even when your paths are filled with pain and/or sorrow. God is with you. He understands your emotions, your mental anguish; your needs.

Job was a man who suffered mentally, emotionally, physically and socially. His faith was in the living God, even in the midst of his all-consuming pain.

(NASB) Job 19:25-27 “As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives,
And at the last He will take His stand on the earth.
26 ‘Even after my skin is destroyed,
Yet from my flesh I shall see God;
27 Whom I myself shall behold,
And whom my eyes will see and not another…”

Sorrows and grief, disappointments and disillusionments with this world will one day be gone!

Today – is your faith in the living God?

Can you say, ‘My faith is in You, my Redeemer? I will go forward by Your creative power.
Please, Oh LORD God, redeem this day, this time in my life for Your purposes.’

~ Take it to heart ~

Is this your prayer?

‘Thank You for being my Redeemer. One day I will see You face to face. One day I will be in Your presence.
Help me to remember who You are at the end of this day – my Redeemer God!
In the name of Jesus, my Savior and my God… amen!’
