Where do you have hope, this moment?  Is the hope a reality or is it like smoke?  You reach for it, but it is uncatchable, it is like mist.

God’s words give hope, a realistic hope, a living hope for you.  Followers of Christ, has your hope diminished?  Take courage and trust God for hope again.

The words of the LORD gave hope to the sons of Israel.  They were slaves in Egypt and Aaron spoke to them about what the LORD said to Moses.

The leaders of the slaves were assembled to hear the great good news of coming deliverance by God.  Moses would be under God’s authority to lead the people out of Egypt to the Promised Land.  Exodus 4:30 with Exodus 3:16-22

The words of the LORD give realistic hope ~ living hope ~ not hope which disappears like smoke on the wind.

The reality of hope for the followers of Christ is living, it is eternal!

Read the following verses carefully, they are filled with hope for you!
(NASB) 1 Peter 1:3-5 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”

The Lord Jesus delivers anyone who chooses to have faith in Him, providing forgiveness for their sins.  The sons of Israel had hope of deliverance in the time of Moses under God’s leadership.

That same God is the God who wants to deliver you from your sins.  Anyone who chooses Jesus as their Savior is delivered from their sins, that very moment.
