The Lord prepares His children to help each other.  God always has, He always will.

The LORD prepared Aaron to help his brother Moses well before Aaron went out into the wilderness to meet him.

When they did meet, Moses told Aaron all that the LORD had said to him.  In fact, he also told Aaron about the signs which God had given him.  These signs were to convince the sons of Israel that God had sent Moses to deliver them from Egyptian slavery.  Exodus 4:28

What are some of the words the LORD said to Moses?
Exodus 3:5 “… ‘Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.’”

Exodus 3:7 “… ‘I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have given heed to their cry because of their taskmasters, for I am aware of their sufferings.”

Exodus 3:8 “So I have come down to deliver them from the power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land,…”

Exodus 3:10 “Now, behold, come now, and I will send you to Pharaoh, so that you may bring my people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt.’”

What are the signs which the LORD gave to Moses to convince the sons of Israel of his leadership?

Exodus 3:12 “… ‘Certainly I will be with you, and this shall be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall worship God at this mountain.’”

The LORD used the shepherd’s staff which Moses carried to become a snake and then it went back to being a staff.  Exodus 4:1-5

The LORD caused Moses’ hand to become leprous then returned it to health.  Exodus 4:6-8

The LORD then told Moses that when he arrived in Egypt he would pour some water from the Nile River onto the ground and it would become blood.  Exodus 4:9

How do these words and signs have meaning for our lives today?  The LORD knows our needs.

The sons of Israel cried out to God and He heard.  The LORD hears your heart cry today.  God still hears. He still acts in behalf of His people.

Do you and I always recognize God working in our behalf?  Sadly, we do not.
