When we ignore, procrastinate or resist doing what the LORD clearly teaches us in His word the Holy Bible, we are disobeying and opposing His clear commands.

Moses procrastinated and his wife resisted and opposed God’s clear teaching to circumcise their son.
They had a lesson to learn – the hard way.

We think of Moses as being immediately spiritually mature when God called him to go to Egypt.  Not so!

What lesson does the LORD want you to learn today?  Are you procrastinating like Moses or are you resisting and opposing God’s clear command like Zipporah, Moses’ wife?

(NASB) Exodus 4:24-26 “Now it came about at the lodging place on the way that the LORD met him and sought to put him to death.
25 Then Zipporah took a flint and cut off her son’s foreskin and threw it at Moses’ feet, and she said, ‘You are indeed a bridegroom of blood to me.’
26 So He let him alone.  At that time she said, ‘You are a bridegroom of blood’ – because of the circumcision.”
