Did you know that the LORD God is not stopped by our wrong choices?  He has unlimited possible solutions at His disposal.  I need to remember that when I am frustrated and up against a brick wall.  Do you need to remember that also?

Moses was called by God to go to Egypt and deliver the Hebrew slaves.

Moses was told to talk to them.  What?!!  Moses had all kinds of excuses… but, but… You know I can’t speak well.

And what did the LORD say in reply?  “Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and teach you what you are to say.”

Moses did not respond well… he said, “Oh, my Lord, I pray You, send by the hand of [some other] whom You will [send].”
Exodus 4:12-13
Moses said ‘Send anyone but me.’

The LORD was blazingly angry with Moses.
Remember the LORD has unlimited solutions and such was the case in this instance.

(NASB) Exodus 4:14 “… ‘Is there not your brother Aaron the Levite?  I know that he speaks fluently.  And moreover, behold, he is coming out to meet you; when he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.”

The LORD God is not stopped by our choices.  He immediately takes steps to bring His plans to fulfillment.  He immediately authorized Aaron to fulfill what Moses should have done.

The LORD is not thwarted by our fears or our failure to trust Him for what He calls each of us to do.

God was still God to Moses.  God was still in charge, He was still in control of the circumstances.

The LORD God is not “put off” by my refusals… shame on Moses and shame on me when I reject the LORD’S leading.

Moses revealed his lack of trust in the LORD’S ability to work through him.

~ Take it to heart ~

What are we to consciously choose to do every day?
(NASB) Proverbs 3:4-5 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.”

I need to hear this ~ today!  Do you?
