Is your life a roller-coaster?  Moving faster than is comfortable – with the plunges into the depths of darkness and then up to where you have some light… over and over again.

The long, slow ascent up a steep incline… sometimes life is a struggle and the mountains are high.  And there can be fear, real fear, in this life as it now is.

Then, like a roller-coaster, the drop downward can cause fear and anxiety.  Down, down, very fast into despair, darkness and depression.  Deep sadness controls your life at times.

Then comes the next climb upward and perhaps there are curves with dips and even corkscrews of feelings which come spiraling into your life.

For the follower of Christ, we can say, ‘But God is with me’ on the roller-coaster of emotions.

It always amazes me when He sends people, the very help I need, in answer to prayer.

The living God never leaves believers in Jesus Christ… throughout the roller-coaster that may be a part of your life right now God is available to you.

Relying on, trusting in, being sure of, without a doubt – that God is God, no matter your circumstances or emotions or the people in your life.

~ Take it to heart ~

Comfort is knowing the living God, and He says, ‘(your name) My will for your life is to continue… I am with you.’

Because the living God is my God, even in the roller-coasters of life, I can say this with confidence:

“I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber.”
(NASB) Psalm 121:1-3

God is with you – even in the roller-coasters of life.
