The LORD used a burning bush to get the attention of Moses as he was tending a flock of sheep.

The bush was not burned up… Curious!  Impossible!  Mind-boggling!

Moses went over to this unusual sight… then God called to him from the middle of that bush.

(NASB) Exodus 3:4 “When the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, ‘Moses, Moses!’ And he said, ‘Here I am.’”

How do you respond when God gets your attention through your circumstances?  Moses responded with “Here I am.”  How do you respond to God Himself?

(NASB) Exodus 3:5 “Then He said, ‘Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”

When the God of the Holy Bible has your attention… do you worship Him – knowing you are in His presence? Do you know you are on holy ground?

(NIV) Acts 7:30 “After forty years had passed, an angel appeared to Moses in the flames of a burning bush in the desert near Mount Sinai.”

No one, absolutely no one, is too old to know the living God for themselves!

~ Take it to heart ~

The LORD is waiting to welcome you, to receive your worship.
He is waiting to reveal Himself to you.
He is waiting for you to know that He alone is God.
