Words … of Power
Pharaoh had the position of power in Egypt. His words were law. He used his words to accomplish his agenda.
Pharaoh recognized facts – which produced fear…
(NASB) Exodus 1:8-9 “Now a new king arose over Egypt, who did not know Joseph.
9 He said to his people, ‘Behold, the people of the sons of Israel are more and mightier than we.’”Pharaoh used fear as a weapon to put his agenda into place.
(NASB) Exodus 1:10 “Come, let us deal wisely with them, or else they will multiply and in the event of war, they will also join themselves to those who hate us, and fight against us and depart from the land.’”Perhaps you are a person in a position of power or influence.
What do you do to promote your agenda? Do you drop a word into a carefully chosen person’s ear to further your desires? Knowing that person will spread your words to many.
You and I need to be careful in what we say and to whom we say it.
Your words and mine influence others, no matter our position in life.
Our words need to be prayerfully and carefully spoken according to God’s truth… not our “truth.”

Words… of power.
Words are powerful – thoughts become words.
“Guard my very thoughts, O Lord!”
(NASB) Psalm 19:14
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation (thoughts) of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer.”
