Changed Lives
The youngest son of Jacob, was given his father’s dying blessing. The blessings given to each of his twelve sons were prophecies concerning their future tribes.
(NASB) Genesis 49:27 “Benjamin is a ravenous wolf;
In the morning he devours the prey,
And in the evening he divides the spoil.”
Descendants of Benjamin were vicious… one example is the first king of Israel, Saul. He began his reign as a godly king and then turned from the living God. He became an adversary of David and worked to hunt him down, trying to kill him before he became the second king of Israel.
Saul had a changed life – he began well by rightfully fearing God. Then his life began to change; he turned from God and he became delusional and vicious.
Another Saul, also from the tribe of Benjamin, had a changed life. He was a strong adversary of the followers of Jesus Christ. He imprisoned many and consented to the death of Stephen, a young man who loved and followed the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior.
The resurrected Lord Jesus met Saul on a road leading to Damascus, and Saul’s life was forever changed, today we know him as Paul. (Acts 10:42-43)
~ Take it to heart ~
The Lord Jesus is waiting for you to turn to Him as your Savior…
The Lord Jesus is waiting for you to yield to Him as your Master…
Can you say your life has been changed by faith in Jesus?
