Prophecy fulfilled and yet to be fulfilled
Many prophecies throughout the Bible, Old Testament and New, have a two-fold fulfillment. And so it is with the prophetic blessing Jacob gave his fourth son, Judah.
Genesis 49:8 God’s only begotten Son was the promised Messiah and He came through the tribe of Judah… Praise Him for He is Jesus the promised Messiah.
Genesis 49:9 The Lion of Judah, does anyone dare rouse Him… Praise Him for He is Jesus the promised Messiah.
Genesis 49:10 Born to be King and Ruler over all nations… Praise Him for He is Jesus the promised Messiah.
Genesis 49:11-12 The first time Jesus came, He was born in Bethlehem, according to prophetic Scripture. He came to make peace between God and all those who receive Jesus as their Savior. Fulfilled prophecy!
The second time Jesus comes, He will come as King on a white horse to be Judge of all the earth. Yet to be fulfilled!
Make no mistake about it, Jesus is coming again, are you ready to meet Him as your Savior or face Him as your Judge?

(NASB) 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”
Give out God’s word – Jesus has come and is coming again.
