The family of Jacob traveled from Canaan to Egypt – Joseph was there and food was there in a time of severe famine.

(NASB) Genesis 46:28 “Now he (Jacob) sent Judah before him to Joseph, to point out the way before him to Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.”

What kind of attitude did Judah have?  We don’t know.

But this we do know, his father Jacob trusted him with responsibilities for the whole family.  There were 67 people in the family not counting the wives, servants and the animals.

Judah had “stepped up to the plate” taking responsibility for this large family.

Where do you need to “step up to the plate” and take your responsibilities?

A responsible person is reliable and can be trusted to follow through – every day.

When we take our responsibilities with a cheerful attitude, others are blessed by God.

We affect others negatively when we “grit our teeth” and do our responsibilities with a bad attitude.

Our attitude changes the very atmosphere in difficult circumstances for ourselves and others.

So!  What do we choose to do today?  As we “step up to the plate” – we are to trust in the living God – that is a positive attitude anytime, anywhere.

Our trust is in the living God because He is with us in this hard place of our lives.

~ Take it to heart ~

Think about this for yourself:
When I take responsibilities with a right attitude – this glorifies the living God.
