Have you experienced times when it is important to approach others through personal and private conversations?

This happened in the life of Joseph.  He knew the time had come to reveal who he was to his eleven brothers.  For twenty-three years they thought he had died because of their actions.

Joseph told all of his staff and servants to leave.  No one else witnessed that disclosure.  Joseph kept it personal between his eleven brothers and himself.  He made sure that it was in private.

Joseph protected his brothers from the stares and whispers of his household.

(NASB) Genesis 45:1 “… So there was no man with him when Joseph made himself known to his brothers.”

How do you handle difficult disclosures or revelations to others?

Prayer should certainly be a part of our preparations.
Brothers and sisters in Christ we should be aware of the pain certain disclosures may cause.
Relying on God and His timing is essential.
