Godly wisdom is needed in both the extraordinary times in our lives as well as the hum-drum parts of life.
(NASB) James 1:5 “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
Have you asked the living God of the Holy Bible for His wisdom recently?
Joseph was second only to Pharaoh, and he used Godly wisdom in dealing with the crisis of famine. He also used wisdom in dealing with his ten older brothers when they came to buy grain in Egypt.
Joseph experienced his teen-age dreams being fulfilled when his brothers bowed down to him in Egypt. (Genesis 43:26, 28)
Joseph did not reveal himself to his brothers, he spoke through an interpreter.
Joseph was eager to hear of his father but he did not reveal himself to his brothers even when he learned that his father was well.
Joseph singled out Benjamin – and still did not reveal himself.
Joseph experienced deep emotions – and he wept privately.
Joseph controlled himself before his brothers, all eleven of them. Still he did not reveal himself. (Genesis 43:26-31)

Godly wisdom sometimes says — wait, not yet.
