Egypt’s Pharaoh imprisoned two of his high ranking servants.  They were there for some time under the charge of another prisoner – Joseph.

(NASB) Genesis 40:5 “Then the cupbearer and the baker for the king of Egypt, who were confined in jail, both had a dream the same night, each man with his own dream and each dream with its own interpretation.”

Those two men were individuals.  Both were unique.

You are an individual and also, unique.

How do you understand your worth to the living God?
(NASB) Psalm 139:13-16 “For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.”

Have you noticed?  The Lord God is not limited – by anything.
Each person is an individual.
Each person is unique.
Each person is made in the image of God.
Each person is important to God.

Each of us is a copy of Him.  We are not God, nor can we ever be a god!  We are made in His likeness – He has given us the capacity to have His Holy Spirit live within us, and that does NOT make us a ‘god’.

All followers of Christ are given God the Holy Spirit to live within us at the very moment that we ask Jesus to be our Savior.  We are saved from our sins and we are given His Spirit.

~ Take it to heart ~

I am important to God and so are those with whom I interact throughout my day.

What do I exhibit to others?  What do others ‘see’ in my attitude, my behavior, my words and actions?

Am I living out my trust in God in the every day frustrations of life?
